Are Past Lives true?

Whether a client is really experiencing a past life or not, when you deal with the events that the client is narrating the problem of the client in the current lifetime vanishes!

Let me explain how I view the concept of past lives. There are times in our practice of hypnotherapy when we regress (taking a client back into their past memories) a client, she starts reliving a memory that does not belong to her current lifetime. The client begins to talk of a time, place and events that seem to have occurred way back in the past. It may really be a past life of the client or the subconscious mind may be reeling out a metaphoric dream in place of an actual event.

But the trauma and the intensity of emotions and the body sensations that the client is experiencing at the moment are all too real. As a Hypnotherapist, my job is not to verify the existence of past lives at that moment but to treat the events as real and guide the client to deal with the issues.

And the truth is that once we deal with the event that the client is undergoing, the problem in her current life vanishes.

However, an interesting phenomenon is that sometimes the client recalls the events of another lifetime complete with the names, places and dates – which makes the recall verifiable. And personally, I have seen such lifetimes verified and proven true! These were details that a client had never come across in her lifetime and were instantly recalled under hypnosis.

Whether it is a past life or not, the client’s issue is instantly healed and her life changes for the better! Also many times, recall of such events often provide a client with so much insight and strength to deal with her current lifetime.
